With a career background in counselling, Pam entered her “wise” years seeking a new direction. Massage proved to be enjoyable, nurturing and ideal.
Women’s lives run through such a variety of phases where we are often so busy looking after everyone else we forget to look after ourselves. Does running on empty sound familiar? To nurture ourselves, to take the time to slow down and to be refreshed, allows us not only to look after ourselves, but to also be in a much stronger position to help those we love.
It is so easy to wake up tired, to be on your feet all day, to sit in front of a computer for too long and to feel your aches and pains become chronic issues. Massage therapy is bliss for all those tired, exhausted muscles. Perhaps a relaxing soothing massage needed at the end of a stressful busy phase? A calming pregnancy massage? Or a more therapeutic remedial massage to ease those aches and pains we often experience, whether age we are?
Pam’s clients range from older women who feel especially comfortable and relaxed in the empathetic hands of a mature therapist, through to pregnant women and children who appreciate her knowledgeable, caring touch.
Pregnancy is a time for mums to be to be cherished and I am currently undertaking some additional study in pregnancy massage to create extra delicious massages for my mums to be.
Baby Massage tuition is offered to mums to be, family groups and to grandparents.
Qualifications
Completed Certificate IV Massage Therapy Practices. 2013 Unity School of Healing, Member Australian Traditional Medicine Society , Infant Massage Instruction completed 2012 with Infant Massage Information Service, Applied First Aid, B Arts UNSW and a Diploma Education UNE
Currently studying Diploma in Remedial Massage with electives in Reflexology and Deep Tissue Bodywork completed and Certificate in Pregnancy Massage.
